The Bradford Bulls are very pleased to be announce that goaltender Jon Strand will be back for the 2015-2016 season. Strand will be entering his third season with the club, helping the club win a Russell Cup Championship in 2014.

Strand's All-Time GMHL Junior record is 17 wins and 2 losses.  His goals against average with the Bulls in 2014 was 2.29GAA while last season he posted a 3.80GAA.

Jon is a 21 year old big-bodied goaltender with strong technique and lateral movement. He is a 6'0", 200lbs hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Jon was signed from the Las Vegas Storm U18 Tier 1 AAA organization in 2013 Off-season by the Bulls. After winning a championship in a back-up role with the Bulls in 2014, Bradford dealt Strand to the Tottenham Expansion team to be the starting goaltender of the new team.

At the trade deadline in 2015, Bradford traded back for Strand's playing rights in preparation for the 2015-2016 season.

Jon has already made his commitment to a ACHA D1 school that he will be joining after the season.

The entire organization management is very pleased to have Jon back as a Bull for his third season.  The Bulls have now re-signed our top three scorers, Assistant Captain and championship goaltender from last year's squad -- in addition to some great new talent joining the team.
